Sarah writes and teaches with an emphasis on clarity, performance, and sustainability. Her goal is to prepare young people to meet real academic demands with confidence—and to help families understand what actually works.

Her work focuses on the years that matter most: preschool, elementary, middle, and high school. These are the years when habits harden, confidence either forms or erodes, and performance trajectories become difficult to change. Sarah works with families who care deeply about outcomes and want those outcomes achieved through fluency, structure, and practice.

Sarah’s approach is shaped by both formal training and lived experience. She holds a degree in mathematics from UC Santa Cruz and a master’s in education from UC Berkeley, and she is the mother of twin teenage boys. Her work sits at the intersection of rigorous academics, family systems, and long-term thinking—how daily practices compound over years.

In recent years, Sarah has expanded her work beyond individual families to schools, parent communities, companies and corporations supporting their parent employees, and international audiences. She is increasingly focused on supporting global-minded and globally-mobile families navigating varieties of education systems and expectations. In 2026, her work includes visiting educator programs in Europe, alongside the continued growth of SB Global Families as a quiet, high-standard membership for families who value consistency and skilled performance over urgency.
